Uttarakhand : Covid restrictions extends till Jan 31

Restriction extends in view of COVID Infection increasing in state.

Uttarakhand : on Monday The Uttarakhand Government has announced the extension of COVID-19 Restriction till January 31 in the state in the view of Rising COVID Infection. All Educational institutes and Anganwadi center Students up to class 12th will have to continue Online Classes.


The state Government has announces the state will observe Night Curfew everyday from 10pm to 6am.

Shopping Malls, Cinema Halls, Spas, Salons, Movies theatres, auditoriums, Gyms etc shall work with 50% Percent capacity.

All Food serving places Like Restaurants, Hotels, Dhabas are allowed to dine with 50% percent capacity, No restriction to takeaways and Home delivery.

Only 50 Peoples are allowed to take part in Marriages and funerals with following all COVID norms.

Playgrounds, stadiums can open with 50% percent capacity, But All swimming pools and water parks in Uttarakhand will remain closed till January 31

Earlier in the view of Coronavirus the state government has banned all physical rallies and demonstrations till the end of January as per the Election Commission order.

The fresh Covid-19 restrictions come at a time when the state is recording a high number of infections, and getting a Hit from the Omicron variant. Till now, Uttarakhand has recorded 400,401 cases including 31,310 active cases, 361,611 recoveries and 7,480 deaths.
