UPDATED TATA NEXON EV
Tata is moving ahead to make its Nexon Electric more updated and to launch new version of Nexon Electric. New Version will have longer range, and improvement is model, currently mode is equipped with Tata’s Ziptron EV powertrain technology that has a 30.2kWh battery pack. This powertrain offers 127bhp of power and 245Nm of torque. The battery comes with a standard warranty of 8 years.

New Version is expected to launch in 2022 and likely to be fitted with a 40kWh battery pack and is estimated to offer a maximum range of around 400km on a single charge. The long-range variant will rival the MG ZS EV, which offers a certified range of 412kms.
TATA ALTROZ EV
Tata Motors will launch the electric version of the Altroz hatchback in 2022. It is likely to be powered by the same electric powertrain that does duty in the Nexon EV, its battery capacity and power figures might be different from Nexon.

The Nexon EV uses an IP67 certified 30.2kWh battery pack with a permanent magnet AC motor. The battery pack is expected to deliver a range around 250km-300km. Its battery might take 60 minutes to get charged up to 80% with DC fast charging and 8 hours to get fully charged with a regular power socket.
TATA PUNCH EV
Expected to be launched in 2022, the Tata Punch EV is likely to be the brand’s cheapest electric model in our market. It will use the Ziptron EV powertrain technology that powers the Nexon EV.

The micro SUV is likely to use a 30.2kWh lithium-ion battery pack powering a 129bhp, electric motor mounted on the front axle. The Nexon EV offers a claimed range of 312km on a single charge. The Punch based EV is likely to come with the updated electric powertrain offering an expected range of over 300km. Its power and torque outputs will stand at 100PS and 200NM respectively.
TATA COUPE SUV EV
Tata Motors is working on a bigger, all-electric coupe version of the Nexon. This model will also be offered with petrol and diesel engine options.

It will be based on the same X1 platform that underpins the Nexon. The coupe SUV will first come as a pure electric vehicle. Details about the powertrain are yet to be revealed; however, it is likely to get a larger 40kWh battery pack with range over 400kms. The new model will enjoy the tax benefits offered on all electric vehicles, a flat 5 percent GST.
TATA SIERRA EV
Tata Motors is all set to re-introduce the iconic Sierra nameplate in the country. It will be Tata’s first stand-alone EV-only model, and the first to be based on the new ‘Born Electric’ platform.
